H. David Blalock | email H. David Blalock has, for the last 25 years, been a writer of science-fiction, fantasy, and horror whose works can be seen today on the web at Aphelion, Alternate Realities, Tandra, Pathway to Darkness, Dark Moon Rising, and many other webzines. In print since 1990, his works have appeared in The Boston Freethinker Newsletter, Devachan Magazine, numerous poetry collections, and two short story anthologies (Monsters From Memphis and More Monsters From Memphis). He is currently working on two novels and expects his contribution to the newest Monsters anthology to appear shortly. David lives near Memphis, Tennessee, with his wife, computer, and dog.
Mike Bohatch | web site Mike Bohatch has been involved in the arts in one form or another, most of his life, It was the passion for horror movies and the creation of bizarre imagery that led him to illustration. While working over 7 years in the digital field in the areas of print, design, prepress and color correction it wasn't until implementing his studies of traditional fine arts that Mike began to bring true realization of his ideas and visions by combining the physical side of fine arts with the digital realm of computer graphics. So began a process he refers to as "digital organics". Currently, he is specializing in horror, surreal and dark metaphysical illustration combining a mixture of drawing, painting, assemblage collage, photography, and electronic compositing. Current working projects include CD covers, magazine covers and illustrations, and motion graphic work.
Gemma Files | web site Gemma Files has a B.A.A. in Magazine Journalism from Ryerson University, and has spent the last seven years writing freelance film criticism for Toronto's eye Weekly, a popular local news and culture review. She also teaches screenwriting at the Trebas Institute. Files' horror fiction has been published in both small press magazines (Grue, Transversions, Palace Corbie) and mainstream anthologies (Seductive Spectres, Demon Sex). Her story "The Emperor's Old Bones", republished in The Year's Best Fantasy and Horror 2000, won an International Horror Writers' Guild award for Best Short Story of 1999. Five of her short stories were adapted for TV and appeared on The Hunger a half-hour anthology TV series produced by Telescene for Showtime and TMN, under the aegis of Tony and Ridley Scott's Scott Free production company.
