Brendan Connell has fiction either forthcoming, or already published, in a number of magazines, literary journals and anthologies, including RE:AL, Tabu, Heist, Penny Dreadful, Monas Hieroglyphica, Fishdrum, The Dream Zone, Darkness Rising 3 (Cosmos Books 2001), Redsine (Cosmos Books 2002), The Best of Devil Blossoms (Asterius Press 2002), and Leviathan 3 (Ministry of Whimsy Press 2002). He has had translations published in Literature of Asia, Africa and Latin America (Prentice Hall 1999).

David Ho was born a Virgo in 1969. He started working digitally over 10 years ago using the Mac. His works have been featured in numerous competitions and publications including the Society of Illustrators annuals, Spectrum annuals, Applied Arts Photography and Illustration annuals, Step-By-Step Illustration annual, MacWorld Expo Digital Gallery, EFX Art and Design, Digital Photo User (UK) and Heavy Metal. His clients include The Source magazine, Chicago Tribune , Interscope Records, Ziff Davis, Acer, Hitachi and IBM. He currently resides in Northern California working as a freelance illustrator and designer. His new book Shadow Maker will be published in early 2002, and will contains over 100 images of stunning color works created by David over the last 10 years, including many never seen before illustrations — check it out… order at least one copy.

Stephen Minchin is twenty-four years old, lives in New Zealand, and is working on his Master's degree in ecology. Since he learned to hold a pencil, Stephen has been fascinated by the written word — when he was five he once vanished for a few hours, but was eventually found sitting in the cellar, copying wine labels into a notebook. This is his first horror story to be published.
